Regarding a transfer to the Amex, Brighton & Hove Albion has “officially contacted” the representatives of Turkish international and Fenerbahçe defender Ferdi Kadıoğlu.
Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, a Turkish transfer analyst, asserts that the Seagulls are among three teams considering the 24-year-old.

According to Sabuncuoğlu, Albion has reached out to the left-back’s agents in an attempt to sign him before the 2024–25 season.

“Brighton inquired about Ferdi Kadıoğlu’s circumstances and established formal contact with the player’s side to include him in their squad,” the tweet read.

Kadıoğlu is also attracting interest from European powerhouses Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, according to Sabuncuoğlu.

According to Sabuncuoğlu, both teams have the defender on their respective “lists” for transfers, although Dortmund has apparently been turned off by Fenerbahçe’s hefty transfer demands, as neither team has made an official offer as of yet.

Sabuncuoğlu tweeted: “Because Fenerbahçe demanded 30 million euros for the left-back, Borussia Dortmund—which is interested in Ferdi Kadıoğlu—decided to find fresh, alternate names for the player.

“Due to the large transfer request, Dortmund has not yet made an official offer, but Ferdi is still on their list.

Ferdi Kadıoğlu is attracting strong interest from Manchester United. He is officially on their list, even if they haven’t gotten in touch with the club or are prepared to make an offer just yet.
