Breaking: Leicester City has landed a departure star player from West Ham

The midfield player reportedly had a £10 million bid from Leeds last summer, but he chose to stay in Scotland past the transfer window’s closing date. Although there had been rumors of interest resurfacing earlier this year, Leeds’ inability to secure promotion will probably have eliminated any chance of signing the 23-year-old.

Numerous Premier League teams are rumored to be considering a move for him, including Everton and West Ham United. Fulham, his previous team, has reportedly expressed interest as well.

Leicester is now expected to enter the competition for the Denmark international, according to The Sun. O’Riley is supposedly valued at £50 million by Celtic, a sum that apparently turned Brighton & Hove Albion down.

O’Riley, meantime, is reportedly being considered by Leicester as a potential replacement for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. With his reunion with Enzo Maresca at Chelsea, the Foxes academy graduate has left a big hole in Leicester’s midfield.

O’Riley has also been linked to Southampton. O’Riley had an incredible 2023–24 season up north. In 49 games across all competitions, he produced 19 goals and 18 assists.Leicester City confirms the move and adds the newest backroom staff member.

Norwich City has stated that Andrew Hughes will join Steve Cooper’s coaching staff at Leicester City.

One of Cooper’s most talked-about actions following his arrival to King Power Stadium was to bring in Norwich’s highly regarded set-piece coach. Though Hughes’s reputation follows him in an industry where the smallest margins may determine millions lost in prize money and relegations, the Welshman has never worked with him before.

Leicester’s set-piece efficiency has been a developing issue over the years, and the new manager appears to be addressing that right away. In a recent post, Norwich City thanked the coach for his nearly eighteen months of work and confirmed his move to another team effective immediately. The statement was released early on Monday morning.
