Steve Cooper told how much spending money he’ll have at Leicester City this summer

While the Foxes were considering signing Belgian defender Arthur Theate, they ultimately decided to pay over £12 million to get Atalanta defender Caleb Okoli.

Despite paying a hefty price for the young Italian center back, Leicester City will still have money left over, which might enable them to pursue other summer acquisitions.

In the summer transfer window, Leicester City is probably going to have “a bit of money to play with.”
Cooper won’t have to be very frugal in his pursuit of players before the 2024–2025 Premier League campaign begins.

The Leicester Mercury reports that the former Nottingham Forest manager will have almost £50 million to spend this summer.

According to Jordan Blackwell of the Leicester Mercury, £50 million is the most likely amount.

“We are aware that they plan to spend £14 million on Fatawu, and in order to prepare the team for a fight for survival, they will need to make a few more signings.”

There will be some cash to work with because Premier League TV payments are guaranteed for the entire season.

“However, the club is still suffering from relegation, they have a sizable wage bill to handle, and they need to continue to be aware of PSR.”
