On April 12, she logged onto the transfer portal.

Originally from the Czech Republic’s Mlada Boleslav Paurova also has a wealth of experience with the national squad. Paurova shot 40% from 3-point range and averaged 17.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists during the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup in Madrid, Spain, last summer.

Joining All-American point guard Georgia Amoore (Virginia Tech), 6-foot-5 freshman center Clara Strack (Virginia Tech), 6-foot-4 forward Teonni Key (North Carolina), 5-foot-8 guard Dazia Lawrence (Charlotte), and 6-foot-1 guard Jordan Obi (Penn) as Kentucky’s additions through the transfer portal this offseason is Paurova.

Tanah Becker, a 6-foot-1 Canadian guard, 6-foot-2, 4-star Florida wing Lexi Blue, 6-foot-3 junior college transfer Amelia Hassett, and 6-foot-7 Portuguese center Clara Silva are other new additions to the Wildcat roster.

Although Mark Pope, the new coach at Kentucky, has filled 12 of his 13 scholarships, the good times are far from over.

In an effort to complete the 2024–25 roster, Pope and the Wildcats are now visiting Will Riley, a 5-star reclass candidate and their first high-profile high school recruit. Pope and the other members of the UK staff will start recruiting this summer in an effort to start assembling their class of 2025 hires.

In an attempt to land his 13th straight class of top-40 recruits, Mark Stoops and company will host several elite prospects for official visits later this month in the football realm.
